Everyday we are all surrounded by harsh chemicals; those chemicals damage our skin and do long term harm to our bodies. At Gaia Earthworks we promote chemical independence. Healthy living does not come from a miracle pill or even from a simple cup of herbal tea. It all starts with what you put in and on your body, what you feed your mind and what actions you take on a daily basis. Actions that involve getting back to the earth and being rooted in a more natural lifestyle. This philosophy is rooted in personal experience with people in our company. Especially that of one of the founding partners - Ericka Lundberg. A few years ago she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Her initial bout with the tumor included a more traditional treatment that accomplished little more than making her seriously ill and helping defeat her attitude. She needed to make a change. Ericka looked inward and made a decision - this decision gave her a fresh perspective on life moving forward. She made a choice to free herself and go back to the earth with what she put both in and on her body. From that effort sprung our company motto "free yourself" and the philosophy behind Gaia Earthworks as a 100 percent all natural body, pet and home products company. We at Gaia Earthworks are committed to social and environmental responsibility by being both active in our community and using recycled products in everything from our paper to our packaging. We also are designated by PETA as an animal cruelty free company. We are dedicated to a natural lifestyle through how we live our lives, how we run our organization and helping others empower themselves to realize the feeling of freedom and wellness involved in breaking free of a chemically dependant lifestyle.
